The Basilica Palladiana in Vicenza, is for us a bit as a "girlfriend": even if we see it several times a day, we never take our eyes off of it. For one family in particular, the elegant work of Andrea Palladio is history, tradition, but also innovation of an art that has been handed down for four generations, the family is Soprana, which works under the arches of the Basilica and features watchmaking and goldsmith masterpieces born thanks to the time dedicated to them.
The Soprana's family history traces the history of many Italians: the great-grandfather seeks and finds fortune in Argentina, then returns to his homeland Valdagno in the 40s, and grow his business. And is the grandfather Adolfo, who in 1972 acquired the historic jewelry Marangoni, who ran the shop under the arches of the Palladian's Basilicafrom 1770 , and is now Soprana Stefano, with his sons Matteo and Giovanni to created the collection "Serliana." The new gold and silver collection of jewelry is inspired by the "Serliana", an architectural detail repeatedly listed by Andrea Palladio right sides of the sixteenth-century Basilica.
